Bahr hired by MSC as substation technician
Wahpeton native Ethan Bahr has joined the Maintenance Solutions Cooperative (MSC) team within Innovative Energy Alliance Cooperative. Working out of the Dickinson office as a substation technician, he will share his substation and metering expertise with Roughrider, Slope, Mor-Gran-Sou and KEM Electric Cooperatives. His first day on the job was May 10.
Bahr holds an Associate’s Degree in applied science in electrical technology from the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton. He worked for Burke-Divide Electric Cooperative in Columbus, N.D., for nine years as a meter technician before being hired by MSC. He says he enjoys the substation work, and his job duties will include installing and maintaining the substation equipment and controls within the cooperative family’s substations.
Bahr pursued the job at MSC to, “get into a bigger town and make a better life for my family.” Outside of work, Bahr serves in the U.S. Army Reserve and rides his motorcycles.
Please welcome Ethan Bahr to Maintenance Solutions Cooperative. We look forward to working alongside him in serving our members.
