KEM, Mor-Gran-Sou, Roughrider and Slope Electric Cooperatives each elect two board members to serve on the alliance board. When the alliance board makes a decision, those directors take the information back to their respective cooperatives for more discussion.
The alliance allows the cooperatives to remain as separate entities with their own identities, assets and obligations, and retain their authority.
