Slope Electric Cooperative is a member-owned electric cooperative in North Dakota with headquarters in New England and a service center in Bowman. It has provided electric service to members in Adams, Bowman, Hettinger and Slope counties since 1945.
The cooperative is governed by an eight-member board of directors who are elected by the membership.
Slope Electric serves 1,919 members by providing electrical service to 4,017 meters. It purchases power through Upper Missouri Power Cooperative in Sidney, Mont. Its power suppliers are Basin Electric Power Cooperative and Western Area Power Administration.
