Innovative Energy Alliance Cooperative (IEA) is a management service cooperative owned by four electric distribution cooperatives in North Dakota: KEM Electric Cooperative, Mor-Gran-Sou Electric Cooperative, Roughrider Electric Cooperative, and Slope Electric Cooperative. It also manages the WDUS Holdings, LLC, family including 3C Construction, LLC, West Dakota Utility Services.
The member-distribution cooperatives serve more than 30,000 consumers across 18,400 square miles of adjoining territory in the southcentral and southwestern portion of North Dakota. The highest consumer density among the four cooperatives in 2.3 meters per mile.
