SAMUELSON EARNS DEGREE
Trisha Samuelson, manager of engineering services for Innovative Energy Alliance Cooperative, graduated in December from the University of Mary in Bismarck with her Masters of Science degree in business. She went back to school in August 2019 to further her professional development.
Hired by the Alliance in October 2012 as system engineer, she was promoted to assistant engineering manager and manager of engineering services. In her current role, she oversees the projects and employees in the engineering department. Some duties include coordinating engineering services for the Alliance's four-member cooperatives; overseeing geographic information systems and project coordination; helping partners fulfill USDA Rural Utilities Service environmental requirements; working with member-systems to solve unique energy questions; working with distributed generation applications; assisting with rate development and providing Southwest Power Pool reporting oversight.
Prior to joining the Alliance, Samuelson worked at HDR Engineering for six years.
Samuelson also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. She graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo in 2006.
On behalf of the Alliance, we are proud of Trisha Samuelson's hard work and determination, and thank her for all she does, on behalf of our members.
